Personal protective equipment (PPE) is protective clothing, helmets, goggles, or other garments or equipment designed to protect the wearer’s body from injury or infection. The hazards addressed by protective equipment include physical, electrical, heat, chemicals, biohazards, and airborne particulate matter.
These are devices used to safegurd a person against hazards or injury during handling,sepration, storing , transportation and disposal of the wastes that are produced in the day to day provision of health care.

These are devices worn in the hands to cover the palm and the upper arm /upto the elbow intended to
